About the Artist

Urbashee Paul is a self-taught artist, based in New York City, who specializes in charcoal drawing and acrylic painting. Her subjects evoke deep emotions in the viewer: of hope, determination, lust, love... 

The artist holds a PhD in Economics from Northeastern University and currently works as an economist at a litigation consulting firm.

Outside of her art and economics career, Urbashee enjoys learning Hindustani classical vocal (training with Dr. Samia Mahbub Ahmad), exploring the New York craft cocktail scene, and traveling internationally to experience new cultures and cuisines.
